Hey Upper East Siders, get ready to sing your hearts out because what happens at karaoke, stays at karaoke! We’re introducing you to our favorite karaoke bars on the Upper East Side. The following bars feature karaoke nights the best way they know how – in the middle of the dance floor, or next to the DJ, so you can sing to the beat of the music.

With a variety of music from all decades, these Upper East Side karaoke bars feature it all! Whether you’re going with a group of friends or family, these karaoke bars on the Upper East Side will not let you down.

Karaoke on the Upper East Side

Iggy’s (1452 2nd Ave at 75th and 76th Street)

  • Karaoke everyday at 10:00 PM
  • Iggy’s is a full scale bar open 7 days a week, 365 days a year! Featuring 14 flat screens, a large dance area, and cool homemade art on the ceilings, Iggy’s has Karaoke everyday at 10:00 PM. Enjoy taking center stage in the back of the room beside the DJ and pair the night with a delicious cider, or choose from their 24 tap beers.
  • Drink recommendations: Winter specials – spiked hot apple cider, spiked peanut butter hot chocolate. Cocktails: jalapeno margarita, aperol spritz

Dorrian’s Red Hand (1616 2nd Ave, at 84th Street) 

  • Karaoke Tuesday nights at 10:00/10:30 PM
  • Serving all Upper East Siders since 1960, Dorrians serves delicious American food and popular beers and cocktails to all who dine. Featuring 5 flat screen TVs in the restaurant, one in the backroom and a projector in the main part of the restaurant, Dorrian’s is the perfect place to sing your heart out with a cold drink in hand. 
  • Food recommendations: Smash burger + tater tots, buffalo chicken wrap, brussel sprouts and mac and cheese
  • Drink recommendations: Draft beer selection, vodka cranberry, bloody mary

The Hunterian (413 E. 70th Street)

  • Karaoke Thursdays from 8:00 PM
  • The Hunterian, which joined the Upper East Side in 2019, is an intimate wood-lined bar featuring beer, whiskies, craft cocktails and weekly karaoke. They also have small bites which include popcorn, sausage roll, chicken & mushroom pie and more. The Hunterian offers Karaoke on Thursday nights starting at 7:30 PM. Grab some popcorn and enjoy the show!
  • Drink recommendations: Bees Knees, Old Fashioned, Juniper & Elderflower

The Toolbox Bar (1742 2nd Ave, between 90th and 91st)

  • Every Tuesday at 10:00 PM
  • Local Gay Bar on the Upper East Side featuring an array of cocktails, happy hour specials and live entertainment – including Karaoke on Tuesday nights! 
  • Drink recommendations: Moscow mule, Toolbox iced tea, frozen margarita, and a nice glass of wine from their list

The Gaf NYC (1696 2nd Ave, between 87th and 88th)

  • Thursdays

Honorable mention: Brandy’s Piano Bar (235 East 84th Street, between 2nd and 3rd)

  • Okay- Brandy’s Piano Bar does not offer karaoke, but we had to include them on this list. This is one of our favorite spots to visit when we are in the mood to belt out a tune along with their live pianist. This piano bar offers nightly live music, and the piano player takes requests, so grab your friends and be prepared to sing along!

Yesterday (7/14/26), the NYC Health Department rel Yesterday (7/14/26), the NYC Health Department released a list of 76 buildings on the Upper East Side with cooling towers that tested positive for Legionella bacteria via PCR screening - an increase from the preliminary list of 31 buildings released last week.

Of the 76, 57 buildings have already completed the required cleaning and disinfection, and the remaining 19 must complete it by Thursday, 7/16.

According to NYC Health, it remains safe to use air conditioners, shower, and drink tap water, and there is no additional risk from being inside these buildings. 

if you’re experiencing flu-like symptoms, please reach out to your doctor right away!

Yesterday, NYC Health released a preliminary list Yesterday, NYC Health released a preliminary list of buildings with cooling towers that tested positive for Legionella during initial PCR screening.

This map shows the locations across the Upper East Side.

We will continue to share updates as more news is released.

Sharing a quick UES update: Yesterday, the NYC Hea Sharing a quick UES update: Yesterday, the NYC Health Department released a preliminary list of 31 buildings on the Upper East Side with cooling towers that tested positive for presence of Legionella bacteria. 

The NYC Health Department announced that 19 have completed remediation, and 12 are expected to be completed today.

As additional testing is completed, this list may expand. We will be sure to keep you updated as more news is shared.
